Why BienSorti?
I built BienSorti because a simple gesture — glancing at the back seat before you close the door — can get lost in the rush of everyday life. This app exists to remind you of that moment, gently, at the right time.
The spark
It started with a realization: a simple gesture — checking the back seat before you close the door — can slip away in the chaos of daily life. A rushed morning, a ringing phone, a disrupted routine… And that doubt, as you shut the car: “Did everyone make it out?”
It's not about negligence. It's about mental load. The brain runs on autopilot: when the routine changes or you're exhausted, you can forget a step you did without thinking yesterday — even when you're attentive and responsible.
I wondered why there wasn't a simple, discreet tool to help parents at that exact moment: no false alerts all day, no permanent tracking, and above all, respect for privacy. I couldn't find exactly what I needed. So I built it.
It can happen to anyone
Every year, children are accidentally left in vehicles — sometimes with tragic consequences. These situations affect attentive parents, not just distracted or careless ones. To learn more about high-risk situations, read our guide 5 situations where forgetting is more likely.
Real risk factors include:
- fatigue or lack of sleep;
- a change in routine (another parent drops off, an unusual route);
- stress or mental overload;
- distraction when getting out of the vehicle.
BienSorti doesn't judge. The app assumes you're doing your best — and that one last reminder at the right moment can make a difference.
What I set out to build
BienSorti is not a surveillance camera or a permanent tracker. It's a safety copilot that steps in at one moment only: the end of a car trip, when the vehicle stops.
Concretely, the app:
- detects that a trip took place (GPS and motion, in the background);
- spots when the vehicle stops;
- gently asks you to confirm everyone has left;
- escalates progressively if you don't respond — because that moment matters.
The promise is simple: one last check before you close the door.
Your data stays with you
For something as personal as your children's safety, trust is essential. That's why BienSorti has no cloud backend: no mandatory account, no server storing your trips, no selling of data.
Everything stays on your phone. The app works without an internet connection for detection and reminders. Read the details in our privacy policy.
What BienSorti is not
I want to be clear: BienSorti does not replace your vigilance as a parent. It's not an absolute guarantee, nor a substitute for a glance at the back seat.
It's an extra layer — a safety net for the days when your mind is elsewhere. Nothing more, nothing less.
“Even the most attentive parents can get distracted. BienSorti watches over that last detail.”
What's next?
BienSorti is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. If you have questions about how it works or setup, see How it works, the FAQ, or the Help page. To share feedback or an idea: contact@biensorti.com.
Thank you for taking the time to read this page. If BienSorti helps you drive a little more peacefully — even just once — then it will have done its job.
